The National Traffic Management Centre (NTMC) is the centralized control room for the project, located at the Head Office  of the Ministry of Works and Transport . It is the nerve centre for the control and monitoring of traffic conditions of the East-West Corridor from Ana Street in the West to the Uriah Butler Highway in the East.

State of the art equipment including up to date software will be installed at the NTMC to facilitate a fully functional and efficient traffic control system. I.e. Important messages from the centre will be conveyed to motorists via Variables Message Signs (VMS) advising on road and traffic conditions.
