1. What is the difference between NIDCO & NEDCO?  

NIDCO: The National Infrastructure Development Company Limited (NIDCO) is a Special Purpose State Enterprise established by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago to manage the delivery of assigned infrastructure projects. It is also responsible for the provision of project management services, procurement of Consultants and Contractors and oversight of project execution. NIDCO’s Head Office is located in the Algico Plaza, 91–93 St. Vincent Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad. NEDCO: The National Entrepreneurship Development Company Limited (NEDCO) is a Limited Liability State-owned company mandated to be the implementing agency for the Government’s policy on Small and Micro Enterprise Development. NEDCO grants loans to finance small businesses. It is a lending institution for Small and Micro Enterprises (SME). NEDCO also provides business incubator services for SMEs, and conducts training for this sector. NEDCO’s Head Office is located at 18–20 London Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Telephone: 625-7679.
