Job Summary

Provides leadership to the Corporate Services Department encompassing Business and Strategic Planning, Information Systems, Process Improvement, Office and Facilities Management and Health, Safety and Environment. 

 

Essential Major responsibilities

  • Establishing, developing and monitoring the implementation of overall strategy, policy and standards for the Company.
  • Overseeing strategic planning and business development.
  • Analysing operations to evaluate the Company’s performance in meeting objectives and determining areas of potential cost reduction, programme improvement or policy change.
  • Evaluating current practices and initiating action to introduce enhancements in methods and techniques in all areas of the Corporate Services function.
  • Develops and implements corporate policies, procedures and systems.
  • Ensures that all of the organization’s support services systems and procedures are effectively developed and maintained.
  • Rationalizes business procedures and process re-engineering.
  • Strategic and Business Planning.
  • Directs the processes associated with ensuring availability of the appropriate information systems.
  • Provision of support services for consultants engaged by the Company in respect of the Company’s projects as appropriate.
  • Manages a team of departmental managers providing guidance and direction as necessary.
  • Prepares budgets and ensures the maintenance of budgetary controls for all the assigned departments.

 

 

 

 

Qualification/Experience

  • Masters degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related field.
  • Five (5) years progressive senior/executive experience in strategic/management role.
  • Leadership experience in business administration, strategic planning, financial or human resources management will be an asset.
  • Previous experience in the Public Sector would be an asset.
